A delegation of Edmonton EXPO 2017 Bid Committee members, Government of Alberta officials and representatives from Edmonton Economic Development Corporation will be in Shanghai this week for the closing of the Shanghai EXPO 2010 and to support Edmonton's bid for EXPO 2017.
"This is another opportunity for us to promote the Edmonton EXPO 2017 bid to a global audience as the Shanghai event draws to a close and people start thinking about future Expos," says Tony Franceschini, Bid Committee Chair. "It is also one more chance for us to view other pavilions and events to garner additional ideas and tips as we develop our international bid."
